DELIVERING SHALOM VILLAGE FOR SAFE AND COMFORTABLE SENIOR LIVING
This project showcases the dedication and collaborative effort invested in creating a safe and comfortable living environment for the elderly residents of Shalom Village at 121 Maloney Street, North Rockhampton. The engineering design required meticulous attention to detail and coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure a high-quality outcome.
Project Highlights:
Collaborative Effort: Worked closely with managers in both Rockhampton and Gladstone to deliver comprehensive engineering designs.
Comprehensive Drafting: Drafted the structural, electrical, hydraulic, and drainage engineering plan work, ensuring all aspects of the design were integrated seamlessly.
Architectural Coordination: Initially collaborated with Carl Brown Architect and later progressed to working with Paul Cruise Architect, adapting designs as needed to meet evolving project requirements.
Structural Design: Ensured the structural integrity and safety of the buildings, creating a secure environment for the elderly residents.
Electrical Engineering: Designed reliable and efficient electrical systems to meet the needs of the facility.
Hydraulic Solutions: Developed effective hydraulic systems to ensure proper water supply and waste management.
Drainage Design: Addressed drainage requirements to prevent flooding and maintain a dry, safe living environment.
Community Impact: This project was crucial in providing a high-quality living space for the elderly, enhancing their quality of life and ensuring their safety and comfort.
The Shalom Village project highlights my commitment to delivering comprehensive and integrated engineering solutions. It underscores my ability to work collaboratively with architects and stakeholders to create safe, functional, and comfortable environments for the community.
